Offset for 18x8 rims

i just bought 18x8 rims with a +38 offset and 225/40 tires and i know this is a trite subject, but after reading through some old threads i noticed that having an offset between 38-45 doesn't always elminate rubbing and no one discussed the specs on the HP EVOs with 225/40 tires. so is there a chance i will have to roll the rear fenders or pick up some spacers?

I got that same offset with 18x7.

You should not need to do any modifications with that package. Shoot I got 235 tires and no drama.

i ended up getting 18x7.5 with a +38 and 225 tires and no rubbing at all...then again the eibachs don't drop that low. i guess there was some confusion in the advertised width size and what i ordered...wish i got 18x8 tho

his are higher offset, meaning they tuck in towards the car more.

They had to shave the fenders in the rear. The front is ok... but I'm on coilovers... they are stiffer than the tokicos.
