i'm guessing this guy is talking about disabling the DRL feature and the twilight sensor altogether.
wow! we haven't discussed this in about 5 minutes, so i'll let you in on the skinny:
disable DRL - pop your hood. look at the top far left corner of the engine bay. (passenger side) there should be a gray connector. unplug it. simple.
disable twilight sensor - not so simple. "popping off" that sensor on the passenger side of the dash is not as easy as it sounds. to avoid breaking the plastic bezel that surrounds the sensor, and a few minutes of swearing and obscenities, take your whole glove box off. it's 4 screws with a 10mm bolt at the bottom right corner of the glove box. take 'em off, WATCH THE YELLOW line that is attached to a cover in the glove box. (air bag connections) then, you can simply unplug the sensor from below instead of "popping it out".
although, some qwerks (sp?) i've found with both techniques occasionally come up are:
DRL sensor - DRL's may come back on even though sensor is unplugged. just plug in the sensor for a few minutes, then unplug it again.
Twilight sensor - upon unplugging the sensor i immediately noticed that my airbag light on my instrument cluster stayed on...hmmmm. haven't figured that one out yet.
