Security light on Solid.... Lights staying on? Why?!?!
I put in a new stereo in my 02' Solara Convertible today, and I'm not exactly sure why but tonight when I got out of my car and locked it up,
the headlights and the driving lights were still on.
Prior to today, whenever I took the keys out of the car and opened the door the lights would shut off (as the car I guess assumes I'm not in it)
I unplugged the clock, and the hazard lights as normally directed in order to get the console out.
Also, when I locked the car tonight the security light remained on a SOLID RED.
I'm afraid tomorrow morning my car's battery is going to be dead.
The stereo is functioning as normal, it does have a yellow battery hook up wire (for memory purposes) but this is normal, and the radio can't be turned on when the car is off so I don't think the car thinks it has some weird thought that stuff is still being used.
Do I have to remember to turn on and off the car lights now?
That would suck.
Anyone with any experience?
