remote start on a manual
i ran a search and saw a lot of topics on remote start, but i dont think anyone has done it on a manual. i saw a kit on ebay with an immobilizer bypass for not too expensive, i dont want anything fancy, jus a remote with a good range that can start the car for me. when i emailed the seller to ask about the MT, he replied
There is a wire on the unit that grounds when the car
is about to start. You hook that up tp a relay that
will send either (-) or (+) signal to the clutch
over-ride switch to make it think it's depressed.
does this make sense to everyone, should i do this? oh and btw, i never leave the car in gear when i park it, i know this is a danger with having a remote start on a manual, but im willing to risk it
