i switched over to BREMBO~! 56k semi-kill. (not too bad)
Brembo BLANKS that is. Lol
First time doing rotors on the Solara. Man, the two bolts in the back (Size 17m socket) was a Bizatch to get off! Had to look for a pipe.
Haven't test driven the car far yet. Only moved it in the backyard, but already it feels like it has hell alot more BITE and firmer brake pedal. But I'll see... (no insurance on the car for now till Monday.
)

This is the OLD rotor. The "outside" (facing outward away from the car) looks to have worn evenly... but...
this is the back of the other. Worned out WIERD looking. And I noticed my brake pades has some bad grooves "cut into them"... :confused:
here's the other rotor. Same thing almost... My question. Is this normal for the back sides of rotors.
Edit: The egdes of teh worn rotors. Its not chipped or nething. The camera makes it look as though there is an ANGLE to the rusted looking parts of the rotor. The rotors are actually completly flush/flat.
My car info:
2000 Solara
about 34,000 miles (Does rotors last this long?)
reason for changing them. Noticed rotor "pulsates" when breaking at speeds over 40mph.
