How in the world are you supposed to undo that f'in bolt? I have tried everything and it wont even budge even after spraying it with WD-40.

Probably not a Hex bolt... probably a Torx head... which tranny bolt are you referring to?

I think it is a 10mm or 12mm hex bolt socket.
If it don't come out you need to use a breaker bar, that will work.
Mine was kind-of hard, but i got it off though.
2000 Solara SE auto V6. Diamond White Pearl.
Top Speed Run finished at 130 mph. :o
Too many modifcations for the signature.

An allen key and your hand just wont work. Definitely need a breaker bar.

definitally thought you were talking about disassemblying a tranny... which is why I thought it was a torx.. anyway.. its an allen key... probably just tight because of the constant heating up and cooling of the tranny... just put some muscle into it, and make sure you going the right direction

Got it off today finally. Leaked out about 4 quarts. Will do again in week then take down the pan in another week, and change the strainer and the gasket and its Royal Purple MAX ATF then.
