Final Mods Countdown to Mid 2006 -Updated 1.26.06-

First the TRD Air Filter(2004ish?) Then the TRD RSB(2004ish?) Then the aggressive suspesnion Tein SS Coilovers(Mid-late 2005) Then the Hot lightweight racing Enkei RS+Ms 18x7.5 48+ w/Falken 235/40s(Late 2005) The last pieces for ordering and debating are coming in where hopefully I'll finish by May of 2006.

V6Performance Grounding Wires(Been lazy to call them still must CALL!)
Rippmods Headers(Waiting for almost 6months WTF!?!)
Apexi WS2 CatBack(Supplier/Rep pricing Hunting still)
Whiteline FSB(Debating, found issues with suspension?)
Can anyone confirm this. I read through the forum from Search results about the FSB by Whiteline and seems like most are avoiding this.

I have to admit, I am wasting some crazy $ on this car even though it sports the 5SFE I4 engine that will probably muster me about 130ish at the wheels. This Tamago ain't the fastest roller on the straight but I can push her into the corners like nothing if I wanted for a challenge against others who think 1/4 is all that for the speed thrill on a windy/curved course run.

Compared to big bro V6 1MZFE with the insane mods push to 300ish. I can see the difference alright but I've grown up with this car ever since I got into this car during my college years in mid-late 2000 its mine forever for as long it can last in my caring hands.

Insane amounts of maintenance costs for upkeep on her as well @ the Toyota dealership. Yellow/Green/Blue. Most know what i'm talking about.
5000/10k/15K/20K/25K/30K/35K/40K/45K/50K/55K/60K(Ouch)/65K/70K and still purring along with only a minor oilpan leak that was fixed.

Can ya say WOAH?

Damn good lookin out for your car. You should buy Josef's turbo kit. I think that's his name anyhow, he's 'turbosolara' on here. Hit that up first, and then when you do full exhaust later on you'll feel so much more kick from it than doing in on an NA car. If you've got the 5spd. that helps out a lot, but if you're auto, even with those mods you've named I doubt you'll be pushing 130 whp. If you're auto, and you compare drivetrain loss to that of the V6, then stock you've got under 100 whp, and if you're 5 spd you've got just over 100. Either way, it's hard for just a full exhaust with header, and intake to add 30 hp on a car that only has 100 to begin with, I say more realisticly, those mods would net you about 15 hp tops I could be wrong but that's my guess. With that turbo kit that's for sale and some mods like what you're talking about, you can push 170-180, which spanks any stock or lightly modded V6's numbers. If you want that that is.

Plus having a unique car like a turbo solara is sweet as hell. Think about it, you can go around sayin whattup to SRT4's. People always mod cars like that that came with factory turbos, but never think to invest to turbo something diffferent, which I think is way cooler. SRT4's are dime a dozen, but how many turbo Solara do you see running around?

Just my $.02.

Wish I could fellas but I ain't dropping more $ on to the car anymore once these mods are completed. Asking for another $2k that I could save for a better car in the future. But thanks for the .02 I'll keep that change in my pocket if i decide to pull it out but I'm really need to start saving

Also, I already put money down on my Rippmod headers. I ain't wanting to toss it out the door to someone else who didn't wait as long as I did.

Oh yes.. forgot to add that I was going to grab the Rippmods SC kit but limitations and cost and maintenance are some values that I need to keep in check.

Cause if i throw in the SC or for instance a turbo, I bet any Toyota service center will refuse to service my car.

*rattles a long box holding something interesting* PICS later of what the nifty package contains

Whiteline FSB

Just a lil question. Those who have the whiteline, were the U link brackets replaced with aftermarket? If that's what that metal piece is for to hold the bushings in place. I can't remember or find the info on the forum atm.

*Wiggles Radar in the air to receive info* Will probably hold off installing of this at a shop if theres parts that need upgrades besides the front sway bar.
