it(the pump) could have a broken vane and the pump motor still works. I would(notice i have a shadetree way for everything) unhook a line from the fuel rail or filter and turn the key on a watch it spray. i would have to see fuel at the motor before i said it wasnt the pump(its prolly not but u know what im saying about the vane in the pump being broken or a gear stipped it would sound normal but not pump ish)
If you have spark and the pump is pumping. And the cam timing is right..the injectors probably arent pulsing. Did you read the part i wrote about the lights that plug into the injectors to show you they are getting current?
