My Solara's dead :(

it(the pump) could have a broken vane and the pump motor still works. I would(notice i have a shadetree way for everything) unhook a line from the fuel rail or filter and turn the key on a watch it spray. i would have to see fuel at the motor before i said it wasnt the pump(its prolly not but u know what im saying about the vane in the pump being broken or a gear stipped it would sound normal but not pump ish)

If you have spark and the pump is pumping. And the cam timing is right..the injectors probably arent pulsing. Did you read the part i wrote about the lights that plug into the injectors to show you they are getting current?

Ok, long story short, my baby's back.
Turns out:
My Solara + new belts, timing belt and h2o pump + mechanic friend with all the right tools = a working car!
Here's what happened to make it not work.
A bearing on the water pump pulley went awol. The inner part of the timing belt started wearing away and the pulley actually froze at one point, causing the belt to melt, and also stuck some rubber and actual threads from the inner part of the belt to the tensioner pulley as well as the water pump pulley. Fun stuff. So now after a week she's running good. Can't wait for the oil change tomorrow.

I'm at 115k and I haven't done any maintenance
Except for the new belts and water pump now.
Next is brakes, pads, SS brake lines. Won't do rotors yet until I get some 19's.
Then after that is aftermarket clutch and flywheel. At 115k my clutch is still really good and smooth.
