Couldn't you at least make it a Portillo's or somewhere worthy of meeting? When starting a call for a meet, always pick somewhere easy to find, interesting to those attending, located in a safe area and most importantly, a decent parking lot to gather cars.
For example: The McDonald's HQ in Oakbrook has a restaurant across from the mall. (Two floors, a coffee bar, flat panel TVs everywhere, etc...) Every week, that Mickey D's has a classic car show. Why not pick that night for a meet up?
Another suggestion: Meet up somewhere and organize a back roads drive to a place of interest. (Like the Volo Auto Museum north of Schaumberg.)
Next February, organize a me
et to go to the Chicago AutoShow and then to a blues bar at night.
These are just some suggestions to help get peeps to show up. (But don't ask me for suggestions in your town, I live hundreds of miles away.)
OMFG i havnt had portillos in soooooo long......
