Okay - not a lot of pics to post just yet, but thought I'd get a couple up at least...

First a shot with the Whiteline Front Sway Bar installed. Notice the red bar on the left side of the pic - that's it. Replaces the big OEM "hook" that comes way up and over the steering shaft that acts like a big spring. This pretty much takes all the flex out of the equation and it now rides like a rigid frame. ;)

Image

Notice I also have the R1 rotors and Stoptech SS lines on now. Once I get Teins I'll be all done with the suspension.

Here's a shot of the rear - with the TRD RSB, rotors and SS lines:

Image

Finally - a shot after the install... the ride height in front rose about 3/8" after installing the Whiteline. The Tein COs will help me drop that back down a bit - just gotta save up a little scratch for those later.

Image

Oh yeah - those are my new grilles too - just simply painted for now, but I'll get them powder-coated eventually. I gave up on my "frankengrille" project using the OEM plastic grille.

I also tore-out all the plastic guard crap that was rubbing and falling-off around the front and in the front wells. I sprayed rubberized undercoating all over up in there so nothing's really exposed. Not like I drive in much snow or anything anyway.

I'll post more pics from underneath when I can - possibly as we get some Header/Y-pipe shots at JP. ;)

How many ELVES are working in your garage when you go to bed at night to CLEAN and POLISH all those undercarriage parts like that?

Everything beautiful, Jeff... Did I miss a review on the rotors and lines as far as performance goes? How is that setup working altogether now?

WAY up with the "FINGERS and LIMBS IN AIR" thing! :sweet: :sweet: :wnw: :bird:

Hehe - thanks guys.

No elves - we just don't get that much mud around here - plus I always wash the undercarriage when I wash the car - and an occasional wipe-down with WD-40 helps to keep things in tip-top shape! ;)

As far as the performance of the new rotors - I also got the high-performance pads - coupled with the new SS lines the brakes are really tight!

I didn't quite get all the air bled out as I was in a hurry the other day, so I re-bled the whole brake system last night and took it for a spin - gotta get used to them now as it feels like I hit a wall or something when I really get on them! :o

I know my ride is going to be even rougher once I get the Teins, but man, it will be like I'm driving a slot car when I'm done! ;)

I like how it looks on yours (like Tacti) !

Did you get the Stoptech SS brake lines intalled ?

I like your grille too !! It seems to be a dark Trenz grille style, ins't it ?

Sebas - Yeah, I think a generic "Trenz-style" grille - doesn't really fit all that great so I gotta mod it some more before getting it powder-coated later this year.

I'm done modding anything else for awhile (except installing my Sirius when I get back in town next week) - all my other audio plans are going to have to wait until later in the Summer I'm afraid.

I'm going to be focussing on getting all the details worked-out with JP on the Headers/Y-pipe the next month or so... save up some $$ to do other things for awhile. ;)

Yeah - caliper paint.

i just recently repainted them when I installed my rotors so they still look pretty good. After a few months they tend to turn kinda brown and lose their gloss.

Regular wipe-downs with WD-40 helps to keep them clean and shiny though. ;)
