Definitely has never been on this board before, with all the pictures he has posted I'd like to see at least 1 of the "dyno proven" 400hp, otherwise I don't necessarily believe his figures.

Not a bad looking car at all. I'd have a lot of questions for him if I were buying but, my dream sleeps below. 8)

Sick car though! love the black on black :sweet:

You're talking about Tony's camry? that thing is insane....I'm one of the lucky ones that have taken a ride in it.....450whp through an automatic tranny :drinking:

and I could see the way that it's mounted....but yeah, it looks like he routes the rear manifold up back to the front. Strange way to do it, but it looks clean.

With his mod list and a 5-speed, 400whp is not out of the question by any means.

this post was brought to my attention and since this is my car i guess i should reply. YES, this is real. I have never put my car on any sites, etc b/c I'm just no like that. It put out 335whp at 11 psi and that was before I added the full 3" catback and exhaust.

Impressive. What kind of internal work did you have done? How about the tranny?

Also - Not knowing the laws of Fl but will the car pass a state required OBDII smog inspection?

forgive me for psoting so many new messages but like i said this is not something I do. The pictures that are marked socallara are not of my car but it looks almost the same. someone did provide a link so that you can actually see real thing. 400hp isn't alot either. Out of the V6 you can easly attain 420+ whp if yu crank up the boost to about 20 psi and still be safe. It may be too much to control but fun.

i did the typical pistons, rods, etc. had the engine bored and balanced. i never changed the transmition b/c the stock one can handle up to 500hp. Fl does not have the emissions law but I believe it would pass. I'm too anal to have it not working right

The State of Florida doesn't check cars for SHITE! You could have black smoke billowing out of your tail pipe and your car leaving a trail of gasoline down the road, all while muffler drags on the ground and sparks and you won't be bothered.

I wish there was an inspection process here.

i have never recorded it running but i guess it would be interesting to see. I've let me freinds drive it and watched it and it's pretty impressive. It's alot different when your the one trying to catch up.

Fl does slack when it comes to paying attention to people and their cars, turbo or not.

The sole reason I'm not making a lot 100 to 150 more HP is the fact that it would impact my ability to pass the required OBD II test for license and registeration. There is another V6 Solara owner from SG that went with a similar turbo setup like this guy has and will never be able to register his car due to his states vehicle inspection requirements. That means driving the car on the street can only be done by breaking the law.

So if you are building a non-street race car, go for it but, if you have to pass an OBDII inspection and test, as most states will require for this year, make and model vehicle, proceed with caution.
