Gen 1 Solara Retro-Update 6000k Bulbs added 2.12
Got my 6000k bulbs in!!
Heres some pix
Gonna take solid pix.. perhaps a lil mini shoot in my neighborhood tomorrow night.... even tho my camera sucks monkeybutt..
4300k Vs 6000k Side by side comparison. Now that I look at it 4300k looks really AMBER compared with 6000k
Beam comparison. In the 6000k Pic i was much closer to my garage door. The 6000k also makes the color mod on the cutoff more apparant
Close up of bulb
pretty much pure freakin white.
I finally got a little better quality pictures trying to use a tripod. My camera just SUCKS. I also took pix of the lights with them off for my buddy CamryOnBronze
Also there are 2 videos as a representation of what it looks like when I'm rolling....
VIDEO UPDATES ( 02.02.08 )
Video One - Camera attatched to tripod, strapped into passenger seat. Sorry for shaky video ( I guess tripods arent good in moving cars )
Headlights and foglights on in this video....

Video Two - Camera at the top of my driveway, with me doing a three point turn ( dumb tight Cul De Sac ) and coming back around. Camera blurs from the 8000k 50W Foglights ( didnt realize how bright they were )
First off, yes I am wearing a shirt and tie. I had just gotten off work
Secondly yes I did hit a small bump at the mouth of the Cul De Sac, it was to show you guys the shine from fog ( blue ) switch to a direct hit from projector ( white )

Pix With Projector Turned Off
Pix of Cutoff
Close To Wall
Far from wall
Across Parking Lot
I noticed one thing about my cutoff. It slants down slightly on the left and up slightly on the right even though i line up the points of focus ( brightest points in beam ). I was told its cause left side is down to avoid glare in oncoming traffic and right side is up to help illuminate road signs. Is that true?
headlights on, fogs on, angel eyes on
Close up of headlight/angel eye assembly
White on top, Blue on bottom
Fog and angel eyes off
Cut off at end of driveway
Representation of what I wanted. Blue in front of car, white headlight beams
