walboro 190 fitment issues
hey guys, i just finished installing the URD 190 upgrade i got from milt, full kit. i had few issues durring the install but the only one that bothered me and didnt really figure out was fitment. the assemply went together perfectly, no problems. i grinded down the end cap to make it fit over the URD provided fuel sock, fallowed the instructions to a T and double checked everything, and teh pump is fully seated in the housing with all 5(including factory) o-rings installed, checked like 5 times
.
however, when reinstalling the whole unit the damn thing would not fit. it was 1/4" to tall, and the large o-ring around the top of the pump unit would not seat, the screws holding the plate wouldnt even seat. i ended up putting the factory fuel sock on and that pretty much fixed it though it was still a tight fit. drove it around, it works and doesnt leak.
i see ware makrs on the inside of the tank where the sock must have been at least touching before but this just doesnt seem right. plus im worried im not gettin the full benifits of the pump with the stock fuel sock. again, it is working and the install, aside from this, went off without a hitch. any one have this issue? are there any other issues i should look for incase i didnt do somthing?
*thanks to Vic and King for the help they gave me already*
