WIndsheild
Hey all,
I'm not happy with this..... but I was driving my 2002 Solara enjoying the smooth ride at 80mph and a rock kicks up and hits my windsheild. It left a small impression which while i continued driving grew into a crack and now looks like two thunderbolts streching across the passenger side. I have insurance so im not worried about cost but i am worried about the replacement of a new windsheild. Filling it with Resin is not an option cause the crack is longer than 6 inches and I've read some facts about how the factory seal can not be duplicated and there is chance of leakage not to mention something about airbag deployment if the window is not replaced properly or even structural integrity. I don't have a choice but to replace the windsheild or drive with it cracked like a sucker. But if someone can offer some advice or info before i get it fixed that would sweeet. So far i plan on going to the dealer to have them replace it but they said they would contract it out to a third party to do the work cause they don't have a glaser on the premises.
