When EricSol built his big brake kit he did not change the calipers, just the rotors if that is what you are refering to HKSV6SLE.

I'm going to assume they won't fit

the TRD pads melt like hot butter b/c they are made for racing.

the materials made of the pad are all semi-metallic where as others are made of ceramic.

so wouldn ceramic be better than for racing?

ceramic pads are made to withstand higher temperatures....

coz at autozone the semi-metallics are the cheap 17 dollar pads that eat up your rotors and coz all kinds of dust...

and if they wree gonna use racing pads shouldn they be kevlar compund?

maybe im wrong though........

higher heat withstand is better, however that does not mean it is stronger.

im sure race cars use full metallic, if not semi-m. metallic and semi-m most likely do eat up your rotors b/c in a race that is how long they keep the parts. every race new rotors and pads are used.

there is still a lot of info out there. im not too familiar with kev comp yet. too much other stuff. :)

How is that possible? If the pads are made for racing, when they are not up to temperature, they eat away the rotors. Even if they are up to temperature, they won't melt if they are for reason.

Only reason I can think of is... TRD ordered some crappy pads from other manufacturers.

I was told the ceramic pads beat the crapola out of your rotors? Is that true?

I found a site that has Axxis pads for $45-50, www.buybrakes.com Does anyone have experience with this site? I purchased a front set from Ebay for $39, and will most likely buy the rear set from this site.
