out of alignment, camber problem and metal fatigue
Howdy gents,
Wanted to see if anyone has had this issue w/ their solara.
Went to have the TRD struts and springs put in today. Almost done and the guy calls me to ask if I want a camber kit installed. He says he can't do the alignment without it.
So, I knew the car was out of alignment b/c i was unevenly burning rubber on the front wheels. I also knew the camber came fixed on the camry/solara platform. But I didn't know it wasn't adjustable. Stupid kit is going to cost me ~$35 + $35/wheel to get installed.
Has anyone else had this problem? The guy at the shop said it was due to metal fatigue in the spindle set.
Thanks,
