Dyno-tune results and problems
well i finally got my car back and went the next day to get it dyno tuned...very very sad day for me!
1st run- 225 fwhp (the tech said the car was running EXTREMELY LEAN)
he turned the fuel up to 25%
2nd run- 212 fwhp (the tech said he will give it one more try, the car was still running extremely lean)
3rd run- 215 fwhp (still running extremely lean)
now that sucked first of all because it cost me 112 for the tuning. second after talking to the guy i realized i needed to do some fuel work on the car. he told me to get the kenne bell pump setup and said he will charge me 675 for the setup with another dyno tune.
i have read another post on this topic where someone used a product from underdog racing...if i dont wanna replace my injectors right now what is my cheapest route of getting more fuel to the engine?
**by the way this shop is no little shop its theone and only ALAMO AUTOSPORTS...you prob heard of them as beign the first to develop the supercharged/turbo'd MR2. the owner did the dyno tune so i know he knows his shizz. he said once the fuel setup was resolved the car will push AT LEAST 25-30 more fwhp...he said a lean mixture always hurts the car's performance.
any suggestions or help?
